On the subject.
Some Canadian insurance companies oblige their performance boat owners to get tracking device installed in boats before the issue coverage.

We carry Stern Lock Products by Marine Securities. They'll have to take the whole boat to get the drives. In stock for #6 or Bravo drives.

Do you know who they use?

I got my eye on a Sutphen right now. Biggus and I are tying to figure out how to get it past the war dept.

Audiofn,
You must have put up wrong link. This device will not remotely track a missing boat or vehicle. This appears to be for employers and suspicious spouses.

This unit can be set up for say a 5 min update. It will update location every 5 min. This way if the boat is ever stolen you will know were it went to with in a 5 min radius.

New model in June that is called the 8100 that will be VERY flexible. It will have a feature called Geo Fencing. If the boat is in motion or moved it is called an alarm event and it will notify you via email or text message. They have a lot of different products depending on what your needs are. The unit that I first linked is great but ONLY if your boat is found again. You would need to mount it up high. Now this can work very well if the boat is found and you were able to recover the unit. You would then be able to know every move of the boat when it was gone.
