I brought the terrible skater to vegas today and will work on it tomorrow, I am still looking for a boat heading east, It seems nothing is moving lately. Had another boat hauler say he gets 3.50 per mile. I think he is fullof it. Thanks way too much. I need to make a nice living but not rob someone by that rate

bgchuby.... curious was that a local transporter or long distance? Here in Connecticut/New Jersey/New York (excluding LI) the local transporters get $4.00 a mile with Hydraulic trailers....

I was talking to a friend of mine that was in new orleans and he told me that the guy was pulling with a pickup and getting 3.50 per mile. I would love to charge that much but there comes a point where you have to be fair and not rob someone. I think between 2 and 2.50 is a fair rate per mile and you are making a fair profit. He told me that the guy knew me but he did not catch the guys name. I would love to find the people paying 3.50 and charge them 2.50 and give them the same service if not better.

yes that was me going to lake elsinore on saturday and left this morning for las vegas. as for desert storm I think that there is a 90% chance that I will have the boat there.
