Don't know if this was mentioned yet but.....Are the motors still in the same location, In other words can this setup now be a swap out for the bravo assy off the transom?

Do they make a bravo style drive? I am building bigger engines for my 42 sonic next winter and I only have bravo 1 drives. I dont want the trans. in the boat due to I will be installing a genset.

The motors do have to move slightly forward and up, but I think you would still have genset room in your Sonic, depending what genset you got. The Konrad Ace drive requires a transmission, but we only went less than 3 inches forward in this app, most of the tranny sits in the transom/Box.

Terry, you could park your Excursion IN the engine room LENGTHWISE on that beast.

Shoot a PM to 'Biggus' here on OSO or I can get you his number--GREAT guy for a Northern Good Ole' Boy. He is the factory guru/rep for Konrad. Konrad does have plans for a shiftable B1 style drive, but I believe they are 12-18 months out on release last I heard.

I think you can still install the genset just fine. Worse comes to worse, we can move the transom back and you can have a 42-3 SS Sonic.
Little Mark and others have a diesel genset in the 37ATs with a little bit of room to spare.

Yes they did sea trials. From what I was told all things were positive.
My boat #2 of 2 conversions is going along as planned .

The boat ran great. Aaron really couldn't get on it due to the break in hours required, but those hours are now on the boat and northern testing will begin next week. Doller did a great job with the rigging and all of their employees seem to take a great deal of pride in their work. I would highly recomend them for any boat repairs, upgrades or maintainence.
