The only fish allowed on my boat are
Swedish Fish.
There is a 10-meter Fountain in Chicago with fishing poles mounted to the transom. It makes you want to cry.

This is a "No Chitter" True story about fishing from a go fast boat.
While running in a poker run last August as a co-pilot in my buddies 22 Donzi, I experienced a truly fishy story. We were cruising along about 65 MPH, the weather was perfect, Bay was calm, Boat was clean, and we were rocking. All of a sudden I see a fish jump up out of the water in front of us, thought to myslef, "Hey, that's pretty cool". Then my thoughts turned dark....next thing I know, I digging fish scales out of my mouth, and the swim pad of the boat is covered in blood - Both mine and the fish!!! Now I'm a good size boy (6,4" - 250 lbs)and have been in my fair share of scurmishes, but I'm here to tell you, I have NEVER been hit so hard in my life. I literly got by butt kicked by a 12" fish. Later that day I went to the doctors office, knowing I needed stiches. Before the Doctor could treat me he and all the nurses had to stop laughing.
So here is the moral to the story - NEVER, ever attempt to fish from a go fast boat, at least one that is going 65MPH.

Wow Jon B! Could have been worse I guess. Hope you recovered fully.

How did the blood end up on the swim platform?

While I was idling in the NYC Poker Run formation last year, waiting for the fog to lift, my fish finder went crazy, showing a huge school of bait under my boat. I knew there had to be stripers after em, so I broke out the fishing rods and sat in the fighting chair mounted on my engine hatch.

I was right next to Wild Child, a great looking Outerlimits from Chicago. They were all dressed up in Kiss outfits, I was fishing off my Sonic. Hey, a typical day in NYC.

I fish all the time off my Sonic and have caught lots of fish. I have not caught THE TUNA or THE MARLIN yet off it, but I am working up to that.

CBR - The blood on the swim pad was both mine and the fish exploded. My son was in the back, he picked up the guts of the fish off the pad.
Did make a full recovery, thanks for asking.

A couple years ago I saw a Cary 50 with a bunch of shortarm downriggers hanging off the back and sides up in Pentwater Michigan. Craziest thing I ever saw.
