Re: Miami Marine Stadium
Surprised the transients haven't moved in and turned it into a condo for the homeless...It is a shame though, I went there as a kid to see my first boat race with my dad in the mid 60s.

Re: Miami Marine Stadium
I was there last year and saw it all abandoned and wondered what the deal was.Very sad to see it the way it is and think that it may be torn down.I went to the hydro and skiff races a couple times when i first moved to
florida and it was the coolest event I have ever been to.Grandstand seats and watching old Allison powered hydro and the crazy jersey skiffs was just awesome.
On a side note i was at the RUSTY PELICAN around the corner and looking out onto the bay while having a drink and the view looked familiar ,kinda like the yacht club from CADDYSHACK that i had watched the night before,Am i correct on this?

When I lived in Miami......a long time ago...lol...1979-1980..It was a nice little cove to ski in.....and we went to hydroplane races there...very exciting......It's a shame the city let that happen....
