That old codger on the port side / throttles is Barry Glovick out of Conklin, MI....besides the 43, he also has the 28 cat can do in his stable & had a 24 also, but got bored with flipping that one over. Has an 18 or two also in his toy chest. Doubt he's on OSO as it must be a pain to shimmy up & down that lone phone pole in Conkilin to send / receive messages! On the serious side, an extraordinary guy and a true asset to the sport..............

Barry painted my '67 435 h.p. vette a few years ago. He still hangs around the races and does a poker run now and then. Miss him being actively involved in racing.

Is the 28 foot boat mentioned a different boat than the one that raced in Algonac, OPA last weekend. It was a 28 foot Skater, Cat Can Do #19 with twin outboards?
