Runs flat at any speed, and handles the rough stuff like a dream, I've been waiting awhile for one to come along that was within my budget.

Yes.
The motors are from the Chris Cat, but with a few changes.

Due,

I'm right across the lake from you with that orange Black Thunder. I'll look you up some day. Been listening to your motors for years. Have you been able to run the Panther WOT?

NoMoMoney - Tim M. was behind me in Gulf coming back from poker run when I had a drive go south on me. Merc. already has a new one on road. Can't get it in writing, but was told by Merc. that every now and then, they have found one with metal issues. Tim was a life saver by taking my crew home. I did the slow idle to Galv.

Your boat looks great. My wife and I went by your slip and looked at it the week before last.

No full throttle runs on the Jaguar yet. Preliminary runs seem to indicate that it'll need 5 blade props to hook-up, although it's not too bad. Had it to 94 @ 4600

I know the guy well with the 42' Outerlimits. He test drove it with 4 blade Merc. props on #6 drives before buying it and hated it. The owner put the 5 blades on it and improved all aspects of performance. Just a lot more stress on drives with 5 blades.

On a cat you need todo full throttle runs to get slip, the faster you go the more lift the hull produces, faster your boat goes less slip etc.

6-8% is almost impossible, I would even tell you it is. There is a post on here from t2x discussing slip.

Also lab finished props throw it all out the window, its really just a measuring tool from one setup to the next.

If you could get 6% slip you would not need so much horespower.

Thanks Curtis
I guess what throws me off is that "stated" pitches for props may not be accurate. If you do the math on some of the newer Skaters, MTI's the result is around 5%.

IE: this is what's shown (for slip): on BAM's site
"Catamaran Pleasure type cat 6 - 8 %
Fast Catamaran Late Skater full race, etc 4 - 6% "

I would think you would have that kind of slip just thru a trans.

Best slip I ever had was on my 36 skater, 500hp carb motors gil exhaust, bravos, 121 mph top speed, I think the slip was 9%.

All props are diff, thats the biggest probl, and thats where slip helps out, so you can compare one set to another.
