Joey Padavona, 44' MTI, 07 boat. Had slight motor issues in the morning, ran 157 mph in the afternoon in the heat and humidity.

no motor problems ,just water leaks in the sea strainer and a low fluid level in the steering bottle.I went to repair before the start and to be safe for a soon to be FAST sTART. we ran all out to the first bridge 150 mph plus ! then the starter went !A quick repair and we took off again and ran all out to PLAKATA.I looked for the boats and was told to go back north about 30 miles to the lunch stop !Time goes quick at 130 mph !
