Re: Dennis Moore aluminum sbc manifolds
Member "Island Time" bought the aluminum for his sbc.
I bought the cast iron. (times two)
The castings were crap and I had to spend a week of evenings making them flat.
The aluminum ones were better, I am told.
Beware of dennis moore customer service.
He gives "rough" shipping dates and doesn't always ship all items promised.
He failed to ship the riser bolts with my kits.
When I emailed him to tell him that I didn't get them he told me that I must be a "mechnical novice" since I emailed him instead of going down to the hardware store and buying some more of what I had already paid for.
I would buy them from someone else next time just because he turned into such a pr*ck when I had a question.
Island Time had better luck with dennis.
Good luck.

Re: Dennis Moore aluminum sbc manifolds
I bought the aluminum manifolds this year from Dennis. Except for having to chase a few threads with a tap I found the kit quite complete. I also liked the idea of losing 95#'s off of the stern.

One more thing... when he says "exact replacement" beware.
They are more like "suitable replacements."
They work.
But they are not the exact replacements.
Because he failed to mention that the EXACT REPLACEMENTS were actually more than 1/2 inch wider per set. That caused fit problems in my application that forced me to change from studs to bolts.
Huge pain in rear.
Island Time was going to check and see if his aluminum ones were sized differently than the stock ones he is replacing.
