Default Aronow on him 36'

In H.O.R.B.A. website I found this image where we can read that it show Aronow and Wynne won a Club race.
No year. No name of the boat.
I think that it was the prototype of the 36' and(or) the next Art Norris famous "Slap Shot" as like as the number 2 show.
Correct?
Anyone know the year of that event? 1970?

But it's to much long to be a 32'.
Maybe the position of the crew(in highest position) looks the boat shorter.....

I believe you are correct. Don was a big guy but not that big. The 36 had a bunch of freeboard and a deep cockpit. Don would have had to be standing on a milk crate...

I think was in 1970's summer. Then in novenber came the first official victory of a 36' with the aeromarine I of Magoon.

Look the Doug Silvera's Starduster, that was one of the first 36' ever built and winner of the Bahamas 500 of 1971,and you will see that the crew was very high on the cockpit.....
