Re: New High Perf. Insurance Market
Hold up!!! Shawn is completely legit. I know personally he has been trying to ink a deal for boats that fall into the 120mph and under market besides Markell for sometime now. I would think that most all high performances boaters would be jumping up and down to have someone else besides Markell to insure. I also hear there might be one more to follow on this type of insurance. If ya can't count that be three. If all goes right, maybe this will bring Markell back down to earth on some of his premiums. I don't know about the rest of ya, but I'm a bit burnt on the premiums he's charging now. A little competition in this market will do us all wonders. Again Shawn is legit, and not like others that have tried to scam us before. Granted he might not be able to help all, but he hooked me up nicely.

Talked with "Insurance God" tonight. Sent him and e-mail and he called me shortly after. Very cool guy and seems legit. He's getting back with me on a quote, if it's competitive I will be switching.

My new market will not write in FL (probably no suprise). Have you tried ACE? I can write ACE also (but not in FL). I can write another carrier in FL but I think ACE would be your best option. If ACE will not write your boat because of location, let me know & I'll get you a quote with another carrier but it will be $$$.

PM me my insurance guy write that 120+ market through Markel......it does have strict criteria though and you may have to take a course like Tres Martin's to qualify.
