First where do I vote ? But It's no secret that I have been looking for a CC. I love boats and look at them like golf clubs, you need about ten of them to play the game.

Since I moved into my new house on the water my needs, well wants have changed. I want to be able to come home from work push the button on the lift and head out for dinner or a drink or just a short cruise. A 50 Nortech with tripp 850's aint that boat. I never spend the night on the boat anymore so I don't need all the stuff it has, so a CC fits my everyday boat and for some of the time in the summer I very well might use it everyday.

Now after I gid rid of the 50 it will be a 35-40 3-4 outboard CC but then I will look for a older 38ish go fast project no or half cabin maybe an old race boat to put some big power in and take it out for poker/speed runs, but a much cheaper less used boat that gets 20-30 hours a year not the 200-400 I will put on a CC when I get it.

I don't think any 38' triple engine CC an match a 38' TG (or similar) in any aspect - looks, ride, sex-appeal.

If you want to entertain groups of people you buy a Sea Ray.

Ok - blast me now!
Agree 100%

I know a lot of you love the narrow 8' foot beams but my 38TE Fountain has a 10'6" beam and that is what I love most about this boat. It rides great and has room but when it is anchored or drifting around in the Gulf it does not rock side to side like those narrow beams do.

What if you could have both "Performance Crossover" All performance, twin 496's or 525's but in a 37 to 42 foot center console. Tons of room, very sleek, custom paint, head for the girls, looks and performance for the guys, 1400 miles one 1 tank of gas and prices less than $200k brand new and you get to design interior and paint yourself. What do you think then? First one will be debuted at the Overland Park Boat Show in Kansas City at the end of Jan. "LOTO Edition" Painted by Visual Imagination. Is there a market for this?

Right now i am running a 38TE also and love it but I sure do miss the go fast. Sure would be nice to have one of each.

Buy a Cat and have the best of both worlds a stable fishing platform and speed.

I've thought about this for years .....
It's one of the main reasons that I have two boats. This year alone my 17 year old sportdeck got 300% more use than my new 1 year old CC !!
Why can't someone just build a CC that has a removable sport deck? With today's technology it can be done. Like a Targa top just remove when you need it.

Just to gauge interest I posted another thread with a poll to see how many people would buy it, if it were made.
