...................price of gas, price of parts, the fact that Mr P spends more time on the boat in the driveway then he does in the water. Also the fact that boat work takes up almost all of his free time, and ALL of our spare cash. Home improvement projects and time at home time take a back seat to the needs of the boat. I hate that each year he has had to pull the engines out
Wow reading all this makes me wonder why I still love boating Since we live on a small lake with a ski boat, none of our friends and family understand the appeal, or the time and money we spend on the big boat. That's why we find solace with our friends from OSO

price of gas, having to deal with launching/mooring/trailering logistics myself (family deck-hands are a bit under-qualified).......and having to come to terms that current prices of the newer/bigger/faster boats I really like are out of my budget comfort zone for now.
