I'll be stuck in Ft Wayne on thurs, gonna rent a car and drive to the Baja factory in Ohio. How's the tour? Do they give any free stuff away? They should, I have purchased 3 Baja's since 98. Thanks!

No advice for the tour.
But Bucyrus, Ohio is home to the Bucyrus Melon festival every summer. When I worked at Cedar Point a big group of us would head over and whoop it up. Quite a big party believe it or not.

Skygod,
Have been there twice. First time as they were building our 260 in 1995 and the second time when they were doing our 1999 36 Outlaw. That time Doug Smith himself along with one or two others took us through the factory. Got to see more and got more info. Best advice, take a towel or several napkins to wipe the drool that usually forms in places like this. You should have a great time. If you have the time and are interested Checkmate is also in Bucryus however I have not been there.

Ask someone that's in the know about all the rumors of them stepping hulls in the future. And what's the real deal on the Skater/Baja race boat. If they plan on producing these or what.

great tour - call Dean Reynolds before you go - he's their marketing guy - lots of family history with the factory and lots of knowledge about Baja boats. Fun tour...

Hey!!! Were not all related to each other here in Crawford Co.........just half of us are interbred. ( And we do have child labor laws here in Bucyrus. You have to be at least a 3rd grader to paint boats!)
Sean-The local festival is the Bratwuerst Festival.
