BD,
I'm going to put the Velocity back on the trailer to do yearly Maintnance and maybe we can trailer over there some weekend and do some boating! I'd like to check out the Tampa Bay area with someone who knows the area. What do you think? Maybe we can get Skatermike to come over to?

Dean,
I think that would be great. I'm always looking forward to meeting new members and I am always up for showing anyone around. Mike's been talking about coming over sometime in the near future as well. It won't be long before it's once again time to organize a little OSO get-together.
I'll also be doing some maintenance on the boat soon. Better to get that done before things get back to full-swing! I just can't seem to find a bad weekend for down-time!

Sorry to hear that, Mattyboy!
So how's greenwood Lake these days? I grew up in Vernon, NJ and Greenwood Lake was where my dad kept our boat and we did all our boating. I remember it starting to get too overcrowded when we sold that boat many years ago(1992-93, I think). We used to describe weekends at the lake as "Boiling Water."

Too Funny, Troutly!

BD,
Sounds good, Maybe after the Miami Boat show we could start planning something. My Father-In-law and his wife live over there so, I might have to include them in the weekend planning, and we'll have to get Mike motivated to go as well, (Just Kidding Mike, don't be blasting by me in that Skater, please!!!) So let's start working on a OSO meet after the Miami Boat show.

Troutly,
Hopefully those of you who can't boat, are snowmobiling instead!

Mikeee,
The Miami boat show is Feb. 13 Wed. thru the 17, Sunday, I think. Are either one of you guys going? I think we might drive down for Saturday, just the day.

Sounds Great Dean and Mike about after the show!

We're thinking about making a day trip down to Miami or staying one night at the most. I don't want to take time off this early in the year.

MD -- The boating was non-existant here.

I have the same GPS as you and I also have the CD for it. I just got it and haven't had a chance to really play around with it. But from what I saw though, the resolution is quite a bit better. The thing for me, though, is the fact that ALL the lights and waypoints are on the CD. Also, you can use your PC for naming the waypoints and building routes then load them into your GPS.
