I have used the napa 1060R for 8 years now with no complaints. Napa tells me that you will no longer be able to get the 1060R, It is being replaced with the 51060R wix. And that wix makes the napa 1060R ?????????????.

Just my 2 cents.......If you ever get a chance, cut open a Fram,Wix and Purolator ( Oreilly Auto Microgaurd is made by purolator) I bet you will never use a Fram again.Oreilly Auto Parts sells Wix filter. For those of you that use the Napa Gold filters,Napa # 1060 add a 5 (51060) and thats the Wix number, fuel filter put a 3 in front (3157=33157) a 4 in front is air filter.

My remote fiter housing says to use Fram HP1. What are the pros and cons of this filter and what would be the Napa Racing number for the replacement filter.

The Wix Racing counterpart for the Fram HP1 is a 51515R.
