God Bless all those involved, their familes and friends.
This is a VERY sad day for sure. I am speachless and sick over this.
We have done five poker runs that Bruce and Myra were at and I have found them to be wonderful people and very respectful in the way they operate their boat.
She will be missed and I pray that Bruce is going to be okay.
God Bless all.

Info is largely speculation at this point.
The videos we've seen from local news show definite damage to the port side of the Nortech in the cockpit area. Haven't seen any footage Flash's boat so have no idea what it sustained as damage. The news is reporting that both boats were being towed to shore.
The damage I've seen confirms what I first suspected. This was not likely a head on crash as has been reported. That area of the lake does not have a blind corner where this might happen. There is a cove with a marina in the immediate area. It's possible that the Nortech was leaving a card stop and Flash was travelling, at speed, and at a 90 degree angle to the Nortech leaving the cove. I know this area well and it's the only explanation I can arrive at. Otherwise the two boats would have been able to see one another easily.
Whatever happened, it's a tragic loss and our prayers go out to the families and also everyone who was involved directly at the crash scene. Nothing can prepare us for this kind of thing.
