Pantera1,
"Those Drives" are Max Machine Worx-"Bravo Type". Max has the right ideas about making "Bravo type" drives that hold up to horsepower but they don't last long on heavy boats Ours lasted 10 hours with two failures on a Sonic 386. They fixed the drive the first time and then 3 hours later the same drive came apart again and they didn't stand behind their product when I had the second failure. They"Max" knew what horespower and weight boat they were going on they said "no problem". Sorry for the rant it is just a thorn in my side still.
