Sling Storage and Hook/Rocker Bottom
Just bought a new 42 Fountain and called customer service to ask where the sling points are on the boat and they told me "sling storage is not recommended due to the possible development of hook or rocker bottom". What is your opinion or experience on this matter?

I would concur. Just like a poor trailer, poor lift storage can also damage the boat's bottom.
Convert your lift to a cradle lift. Myco can create one for your boat that can be lifted via cable.

You don't need a cradle from Myco, but you definitely need something that supports the boat properly, with full bunks that are cut to the steps properly.
