I like to see Jr, get it, but it would have to be a pretty much perfect race for him and everything fall his way. Kevin has a shot at it.. If he is tuned in like he has been,, he could be tough to beat there. Going to be a interesting race. The top 5 will not be taking many chances.
I remember many years ago in the late 70s when the late Joel Halpern(Beep Beep) was alive and he got in to Cup racing with a team and brought a Cup car to the Benihana GP in NJ, I happened to be there when he opened the hauler up and asked him if it was a Banjo Matthews Car?
He said yeap, and was surprised that someone at the boat races knew what it was, we talked for about 30-45 minutes about Cup racing and we then unloaded it and he drove it around the parking lot . he was really into it.
I guess after all these years you still remember moments like that.
A lot of good/great racers have come and gone over the years.
Thank you
Enjoy Homestead and hope that the right guy wins

RacerGirl3,
Well, I go back a few years in roundy round racing in the Northeast before I started to play around with boats.
Well, I'll be happy to watch the 24 Hours of Daytona as I know a few of the sport car guys.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving
Thank you
Jim
