Trs drive needs to be rebuilt.
Does anyone know any thing about Don Carter at Offshore performance specialities, good or bad? Doller offshore is also a choice. The Bravo shop recommended Don Carter.

I had a TRS on my Donzi. I took it to Doller and swaped it for a new rebuilt. It looked better than a new one, and was still going after 4 years. They'll also ship. Great people to deal with!

There are alot of companies rebuilding TRS drives but what makes use different than the rest is if we recieve the drive on a Monday we can usually turn it around in one day so you do not miss any boating When the drive gets disassembled we magnaflux(X-ray) all the main gears and shafts for cracks and stress points. We then assemble the drive with only original Mercruiser parts. Then it goes to the paint shop to get a beautiful new coat of black paint and new decals.
