Anyone with an 26' American Offshore???
Anyone have one that can tell me more about them. I'm considering buying one but I'd like to get some first hand experiences.

My cousin had one what do you want to know? The boat is very stable at all speeds, no propoising, and a dry ride. This took about 800 hp to run over 100. I think they are a great boat for the money and ride and handle well. They are very predictable. I would buy one if I was in the market for a single cat with no cabin.

Except the one I rode in had a big "flat" surface under the deck for a matress or something for a cabin.
Check out the Carrera Cats also.

Not what I consider a cabin, maybe a place to store a cooler or some life vests.

I have one for sale in the classified section. I built the engine and did all the rigging on it. I can tell you everything there is to know about it. The boat rides like it is on rails at speed in one to two. When it is flat with some small rollers hang on this boat halls a$$. Look at my ad and call if you have any questions I am negotiable and some trades I will take a look at.

I was a week late on the 1997 listed here on OSO. Not to mention that I knew the guy who owned it. He sold it for $38,700 which is closer to where I need to be.
I like the white....it allows me to do whatever I want to it without a ton of work.

I had a 1996 NSX...great boat. It did not do anything funny, even at 100+ MPH. I would highly recommend it. They are an excellent value.
