Anyone know this old 12M Fountain?
A buddy of mine asked me if I could do a little research on this old 12 Meter. He is not concerned with speed just wants a big 'ol wave crusher that wont break the bank.
What would be a realistic offer?http://www.offshoreonly.com/esvon/page-12735.html
Thanks in advance,
Kurt

I see your still looking for a 12 meter. We talked about them at the Miami show last year. They're a great boat. Sorry I cant help with info on the boat. It has been for sale for a long time. I'll keep my eyes out.

I know that boat very well, I bought my old 10 meter from the same original owner. It's got to be one of the cleanest boats I have ever seen, stored indoors since it was new also.

That looks like a nice boat. What kind of drives TRS ?Is it a fresh water,or salt ?What condition are the engs/Headers,drives/trannys.I had a 10 meter and loved it ,great boat but if a few of these items are in poor shape that is what could break the bank.If those are in good shape seems like a good buy on a hell of a wave crusher probably about 70+

Wish the new boats had the long deck of these old beauties. Now it is all swim platform, sunpad and humongous cockpits. Longing for the old days

Thanks for the replies. What's a realistic offer, as nice as it is, I think 51k is a bit steep for a 1986 boat.

I knew the original owners also. Very nice boat, almost never used. Rack stored it's entire life. It had 400 hp engines and TRS, only went about 62mph. I'd start by offering low 40's.
