I'd have to agree with the wetness part but not soaked, and yes we were going fast on top of them and was trimmed right. If you go below say 50 you get really wet. The bow doesnt like to lift for anything, and always run flat and level.

you think the lens was getting wet? the spots were the deflector were from taking off out of the harbor...it was rougher than it looks as usual...the beak was gulping water when we left. 1st part and end was on inland lake..rest is Lk Michigan out of Milwaukee. Now you're all going to say Fountains ride like chit.....sea ya

I'll get my friend to mount the damn thing next time, he's a drunk.

Thats a bouncy vid. The 42 Fountains do not ride bad at all. They are one of the best riding boats I've been on, as I've said before.

I didn't realize you had a 43 Fountain. I heard Fountain was counting the ladder mount in overall length now.

Its a good think they don't mount the VHF antennas on the transom. Otherwise they'd be marketed as a 49 footer.
