Looks like a pretty hairy run between Marina del Rey and Long Beach Coming around Palos Verdes, more often than not, is always big

When I went from lauterdale to key west in a friends big magnum we were in around 30 foot seas out in the gulf and they were so far spaced it was like it was calm out, even in 6-8 footers they were like riding a big smooth pillow, here in the lakes they are so close it's crazy to even bother trying to go out at all, but I don't like the ocean you guy's can keep it, I like to be the top of the food chain at all times.

whiners. That stuff is so far apart, you can take a Zodiac in that.

It's just bringing the sharks closer to shore!!!!

Anyone else see 48hours/dateline/whosamajjobibies news deal with the guy that got attacked by the shark? Dumbass is going to sue, and on TV, he admits he was "looking aroudn for sharks". LOL! Yeah, I think you'll win...."I knew they werew there, I swam, got bit, now I wanna get some cashola, okay?"

Pffft.

They ain't that far apart ... at 60+mph, you can span the swells ... but, like when a Supercross rider doesn't quite make the triple ... gets a litle ugly

Hey guys,

Which weather forcasting web sites are the best for So Cal? I'm up here in Ventura and use these:
http://205.156.54.206/om/marine/zone/west/loxmz.htm
http://cdip.ucsd.edu/models/sb_channel.gif
http://www.nawcwpns.navy.mil/%7Eweat.../analysis.html
http://facs.scripps.edu/surf/buoylist.html

Any other good sources for boating weather in California?

Hey SCUBADO!

What up? Those are some great links there. Do you launch from Channel Islands or the Ventura Harbor?
