towelboy- as a rule of thumb that i use, you only see about 1/2 to 1/3 of the actual damage, and its known that it has wet stringer and core problems so you have to assume the worst and repair acordingly.please understand im noy tyring to critisize when i say this but you cannot say "i believe i can fix this with no real problems" you have to know you can fix it.and sometimes (or almost always) it means you are going to open a can of worms. i said it once before and i'll say it again, its on the planeing surface. no room for take'n chances.again im not tryin to critisize just to enlighten.by the way towelboy sounds like there is a story in there somewhere . . .you save a boat from sinkin with a towel . .c'mon,do tell
