Before you buy... look into insurance (closely). I'm STILL having issues getting a 2nd boat insured for an area that is not my primary residence.

I am glad you said that Joe, i had been wondering how that works. Most insurance companies shy away from this. I would also say to take a look at some of the new boats out there like the new Fountains(yes the f word) because they are extremely reasonable right now. Shogren had a 2007 42 for 219k. Chitload of boat for the money, dang nice paint job too.
