Re: Beware this boat for sale....
I don't see the importance of knowing about the loss of life involved. A buyer is buying the boat, which is very obvious of it's condition from the pictures, even stating the type of accident, not the personal result of the accident.
If knowing a death was involved because it gives ya the creepies, that's a personal matter.
I owned a motorcycle that was involved in accident where the owner was killed. I knew it, bought it, rode, sold it. Still alive too I might add. It even had some battle scares, chopped front fender as a reminder.
As far as the price and condition of the boat itself, I'd pass. But not because of the death involved. Just my .02

What may happen is the boats will be sold to someone who fixes them up then resells them at some point to someone who doesn't know the history. A nice paint job can cover a lot of flaws.

What about the tens of thousands of heavily crashed vehicles they sell- or demand be repaired instead of totalled? Can you imagine carrying your family around in a car constructed from the front half of one and the back of another?
With these boats, you can see it all. And, if you're stupid enough to patch it together and propel it to 100+, you get what you get.
