Your engines will last forever if you run them 3000 or less most of the time. Over 3000 hours on my last one without any major repairs/rebuilds. Sometimes this is just not possible, depends on the rig.

2900 rpm = 43/44 mph, 34' Phantom, 502/415's, Bravo's 1.50 ratio, 32" Bravo props, 11% slip.
That speed will increase with some minor offseason improvements, ie. new exhaust, ecu reprogram.
