Corsa Quick and Quiet II - Why?
I was just wondering what the point of the Corsa Quick and Quiet II is. It is basically a splitter going between the thru-hull and thru-prop exhaust. Seems like it would just be simpler to run the thru-hull only, and just block the thru-prop pipes.

My understanding is that you loose nothing to restrictions in the thru hull mufflers while maintaining the quieter exhaust note that most inland waterways are starting to look for. I had it on a Donzi and it worked and sounded nice!

I forgot to mention that the Quick and Quiet II (versus the Quick and Quiet) does not have a diverter valve. It is just a splitter pipe.

Right, but the tips have "baffles" in them, and thus any back pressure built up is pushed down through the Y-Pipe and out the drive to promote a freer-flowing exhaust, reasonable level of quiet and no power loss.
