Cig vs. Donzi
I currently own a 2006 38zr w/525's. Went to Miami with the intention of trading into a Cig; 2007 39TG w/700's NXT, but for the same money could have a Donzi 43ZR w/850's and 6's or 700's NXT and save $100k. It is my intention to run in Florida during the winters, LOTO in the summer.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm just not really seeing the the difference/benefit of the Cig for the dollars.

If you like the ride you have now in the Donzi then the 43 will be even better. If you want a different look and feel then try the Cig or a 39 Outerlimits with 700's.

RESALE -, but that is a hard descision, i just want to see another cig at LOTO - If you spend 500k on a cig and go to sell it in a year you will only get 400k if that ,if you spent 400 on a 43 with 850s and 6s you will have a very limited market and maybe get 250 on a good day. New boats are hard on the pocket book - better resale and more buyers on the cig, but higher price - good luck with the decision

I hate the resale argument on Cigs... I know people are getting offered 100K less than they paid one year earlier....To many in the market…
The 39 TG is hands down a better boat, better ride, better fit and finish. If you go with the Donzi or Gun only go with 700's. The maintenance schedule on the 850SCI is for a rebuild every 150 hours and the 700SCI I was told should get 400 Hours maybe a little less depending time at WOT.
If it was not about money I would go with the TG. If you have a budget I would go with the Donzi...

I looked at a new 38 ZR and as nice as that boat is, I coudn,t own it. Not that there is anything wrong with it. But, once you get used to Cig quality, craftmanship, detail, fit and finish, it is hard to go back to a production boat. It all depends on what your priorities are. The Donzi is an exceptional boat for a production boat. But, I prefer more of a one off ,hand built , custom type of boat. If you can appreciate that and it's important to you, look at the Cig.

Go with the Cigarette, either boat will depreciate greatly the first year, Cig just a better built boat and will handle Loto's water better, make sure the nxt is fixed now or go with the 6 lower.
