I wanted to mention that in Europe are also memorial days concerning the events 9/11, many of the victims in the towers were europeans, some orientals... Nobody with a well working heart needs any violence anywhere in the world.

Got goose bumps reading the first few pages of this thread from 2001. I've seen a number of documentaries on tv about what happened - I sit in stunned silence, then I get angry. Trust me - the rest of the civilised world want Bin Laden wiped off the face of this planet. A martyr?? A complete friggin lunatic!!

Unfortunately, we have some very sick leftists in Santa Monica, California who have setup a mock memorial called "Arlington West", which is nothing but a sham anti-military protest. They have taken the names and pictures of those who have died fighting for our country in Afganistan and Iraq, and posted them up along with crosses, obviously without the deceased person's permission. This so called memorial was NOT erected to honor those men and women. How low can the left go, exploiting people who are dead and defenseless, who can't protest the use of their names and pictures being used for anti-military, anti-war propaganda? Just about every one of those soldiers believed in what they were doing, and were proud doing it. This sham memorial is perverse, and the entire thing should be removed from the public beach.

how low can the left go....? There is no limit. Look at this fiasco with the 9/11 mini series...clinton scum bag lawyers demanding they pull it off the air. Sandy Burger stealing documents out of the national archives. Makes me sick.
