NEVER FORGET!

The New York Skyline has been forever changed,
By a people so evil and very deranged,
Under our maker united we stand,
And we will do what is needed to protect our land,
Our tears flow like a kind gentle rain,
As we start to feel anger in every range,
Out friends, our neighbors, our families too,
Seems as though everyone lost somebody they knew,
The Pentagon hit also touched us all,
Our government finally stands united and tall,
Our personal loses may unfortunately grow,
As our forces of military must begin to show,
Strength in power our Nation must stay,
For these forces, we must each one pray,
All the nations will suffer, of course,
Until we search out and eliminate this evil source,
Until "terrorism" is a word we no longer hear,
We will now always live with a bit of fear,
God Bless our soldiers and civilians, too,
Please, God, Bless me and God Bless you.

Thanks for your post & pictures.
I hoped alot of more people chimed in & shared how they were feeling today. I for one have had a day full of mixed emotions. As I said a few posts ago, I opened up a box where I put a few momentos after returing from several days of digging at ground zero. I'm sure others have reflected & shed a few today. I looked at a few pictures from when we were there & decided to keep them to myself. I don't think I should be posting them at this time.

As evidenced by my post in this thread.......I like many others that day watched as the towers fell in a cloud of dust and smoke. I will never ever be able to erase that sight from my mind.

We visited Ground Zero today to keep that memory alive and pay our humble respects........still a very emotional site.
