When I learned of the Osama news I went back and looked at my old pictures. I found a picture my sister took of me last year passing by the statue of liberty and posted it on Facebook again because I thought it was a nice symbol of freedom.
However, this morning I learned the secret code the Seals used to declare the mission a success was "Gernonino", the name of my boat. So now it gives the picture a little more meaning.

I was standing in the middle of 55,000 people at the Stagecoach country music festival when I got a text saying he was dead. Within a couple minutes people around us were getting the same message and the place started getting crazy.. Carrie Underwood was in the middle of playing. when she was done Rascal Flats started their set by announcing, "we got the son of a *****". 55,000 people went ballistic.. The noise was deafening.. my ears are still ringing.
