Memorial Day - East Coast FL???
Trying to get some ideas for Memorial Day and would like to check out somewhere new on the East Coast.
Where are some of the hots spots to go from say Melbourne to roughly Stuart???
Hotels, waterfront bars, islands, etc.
Thanks!

Silver Glen springs on Lake George off the St. Johns River is awesome on holiday weekends. Here's a video from last Memorial Day Weekend. I'll be there!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=egvmTehyecQ

Sandbar in Stuart is cool but it gets rowdy. Kid took a sucker punch in the back of the head there last year and died. Kid wasn't even part of the fight just got it for standing in the wrong place/ wrong time.

Welllll, we are not quite sure what we are going to do, especially since I might be in CA. on business. We might do a local fun run in the Atlantic, from the Port of Canaveral, down to Sebsation Inlet , then back up the Indian River, (ICW) and stop for a bite along the way back to Merritt Island. Or we might go to Hontoon's, up on the St. John's river, we've been invited by some friends to go up.
I'll post an update later,
BTW, nice Allison, Grand sport are wicked fast, and good looking boats!

Keep the ideas coming! Done the Silver Glen thing many times and looking to go somewhere new. We've been to Shell island over in St. Pete a bunch of times too, but looking to try something on the East Coast.
