Pantera1 -- I'm going to be getting the survey done early next week, would it be possible to have a look at it then once they bring it in of the rack? This might help me with getting more of a 3rd party opinion. Thanks, Dave

No problem , give me a shout when it comes down from the barn. Ive looked it over a few times when i see it in the yard getting cleaned up in the spring, always been looking for a for sale sign Its real clean from what I can see and does look like its been freshwater kept. I want to say its been on Winni for at least 5-6 years.
I know someone at silver sands that will give me the straight scoop.

Pantera 1 -- do boats normally have issues with corrosion in Lake Winnie, --- on the other thread someone had mentioned that because of the levels of lime in the water that the anodes/aluminum has a tendency to get attacked a bit?

I didnt know it was the lime, I thought there was a natural amount of salt in almost all freshwater.. But yes if left in all summer my lowers start to bubble and corrode, pitting the aluminum. Not nearly as bad as the ocean but it does happen on boats that are left in all summer. I repaint mine every 2-3 seasons for that reason.
