Reliability, price...
Reliability, I would think it's ok, price... 8-9 k max...

Great motor's and totaly on snooze ,will run hundreds of hrs without a problem.
Just be prepared to feed her with fuel, those twin 700 carbs are thirsty as hell as soon as you're into boost!

The 600sc is a great engine ,,, they will go Long hours (500) or more if you run them easy,,, they have all the good parts,, ie: rods , cranks, ect: they are 7.5 compression from the fac and will run on 89 oct if ya stay out of the boost ,,, as has been said already,, they drink gas ,, not bad if ya stay out of the boost ,, they do change with the weather , your gonna have to learn to set the idle jetting every time it rains , snows, or the sun comes out!!! Still a great engine ,, I would own them again!!
