Boost Power Racing oil pans?
#11
I don't specificly know about Boost Power's oil pand but I know enough about them to stay away, I went to school with the guy that owns that place and until I moved to Florida I used to live about 2 miles from his shop, Alexi Shagrin is the owners name and he a world class swindler in my opinion. Been in and out of buisness a few times under different names and he tends to run when trouble comes.

guess I should have said Ian........ the poor guy when I over heard about the long lead time I butted in. As much as I complain about the money we pour into the boat, I would hate to miss a week of time on it
I also had a call from a member who highly recommends Gil oil pans.
Little by little I am getting an education, yesterday I knew little about oil pans, now I know the diffence between Mark IV and MarkV

Call Dean Nickerson in PA. That is where I got mine. The Canton pan is a good piece. Milidon pans are junk. I have thrown away two different pairs in the last year off of different boats. Tell Ian hi. Joe Murray

Baker makes some really high quality oil pans in house and they are in Michigan BUT I wasn't aware of them making marine pans,I have used at least a 1/2 dozen of their circle track oil pans,if you buy four or five at one time they will knock 20 or 30% off too-Donnas oil pan sales-I can see it now . They also supply special blueprinted oil pumps with the stock pickup hole blocked off and custom matched to their pan,Smitty

Smitty Baker does make marine pans now, Tyler has used started using some of them, and I believe he is putting one in the his new Joker race boat. Ian is probably going to go that route or stay with our old pans and modify them.
He knows there are other good pans out there, but money is a concern and the Steph's pan are pricy Ms PatriYacht

I run these ( http://www.dooleyenterprises.com/Oilpans/stroker.html ) never had any problems. I don't think they make as much power as the Stefs but they have trap doors and seem pretty strong.
