Pompano Beach
I am thinking about buying a condo in pompano beach in the next two years and I was just wanting to get some feedback. Is it a good area ect. I want to be close to miami and my price range looks like pompano is good for me. It will mainly be for vacation renal but i still want a place to go wen it gets cold in cincinnati, and a place to keep a second boat. Any ideas or feedback would be great. Thanks

There are a few good, and many not so good(or at least places I wouldnt wanna call home) areas in Pompano, I am assuming your talkin waterfront??
Research well, I didnt when I moved here, and bought my townhome , it all looked good during the day, in the middle of the week, but when the kids got outta school, and the parents got home, the neighborhood got WAYYYY Loud.
I kept that place 6 months, then moved North to Palm Beach County, and West out in the Glades, I can go out in the backyard on a saturday night, and hear the critters croaking, its so quiet.

after just returning from our first trip to the gulf side, I would strongly suggest checking out the area from Marco north to Captivia, beautiful beaches with public access and lots of interesting places to go boating. Not sure if it is more pricy but if things are equal I would definately take a look

Let me know when you need to see something. As you can tell from my signature, I deal directly in that area. I live within 2 miles of the nicest areas of Pompano and I am 2 blks from the ICW.

I live in Pompano, and I love it. It is close to everything. And the club office is in Pompano too.
