Poker Runs are probably a thing of the past on Lanier. Insurance for the event went from $800/day to $5,000/day. The corps is not wanting to approve the events except for sailing vessels.

Just wanted to say Thanks again David for taking the time to show us around the lake on Friday afternoon! Even though there were a few things that tried to keep us off the water, we still got out there! Lynsi and I really enjoyed Lake Lanier, and we will visit again soon!

There's always that chance you might get up in these neck of woods, if so we'll get you out on Lake Erie and over to the islands!

David
