BAZOOKA Tube ?
Does any one have any experience with using a Bazooka Tube sub woofer in their boat? Any pro's or con's? Do they sound pretty good or not? This is the one I am considering. The black automotive ones are a little cheaper. I suspect the white which is stated marine may have very minimal differences. I am thinking it would fit perfectly in one of my side storage areas where I store fenders now. Thanks for the advice!

I used the Black Bazookas tubes on mine and they sound much bettter then I thought they would with good thump!
I couldn't bring myself to cutting any holes for subs so I went the tube route and am very happy with the results. No issues being non-marine after 2 seasons!

If you want hard rap type thump at very loud volumes look elsewhere. Bazookas work quite well for some really decent bass.

Thanks for the feedback.
ZP'd - It looks like you went with the Bazooka Tube with out the integrated Amp.
Any one with a recommendation with or with out amp?
I'm thinking of getting one with the 200 watt built in amp. Then will use a JL Audio 4x75w amp to power 4 Alpine 6.5 speakers. Nothing crazy just want clean sound with some bass.

If I where buying I'd get the external amp, more control and if you want to up grade you can use it for something else also the marine isn't worth the extra $$ unless you want white

I did 2 8" subs in mine in the same type of location as you want to use and it sounds great just make sure you give them enough clean power, I would of done 10's if I had it to do over so now Im trying to find a place for these 12"s I have laying around
I would go with truck style boxes and 2 10" inch subs
boxes bottom depth is less than the tube

10s

I recommend these and JL I have both and they are worth the money
these are the 8's I have they are the Mclass

I have the 10" amplified marine Bazooka tube and it hits decent. I was actually expecting a bit more though, but that could be because I had 2 15" subs in my truck in high school.

I wanted the ability to have a bit more control, thus the 8ohm tubes bridged off the Alpine 220 amp.
The only goal of my system I had was to be able to hear it well at speed with a little thump and they more then do that.
