Thanks again for all of the condolences. I do appreciate them as does my family.
Contributions can be made in the names of Albert P. Miller and/or Kathryn McBride Miller (aka "Bridie") to the following:
Julie Billiart School
4982 Clubside Road
Lyndhurst, OH 44124
Julie Billiart is a school that provides special education to children with special needs. My sister attended the school and was taught to overcome her Cerebral Palsy and learning disabilities. It inspired her to go on to attend Xavier University before achieving a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Virginia. My sister became a special education teacher herself after graduating UVA.
Julie Billiart will be using donations in my dad and sister's names to provide scholarships to children who's families cannot afford the tuition.
I, along with my family and the school, appreciate any donations OSO members may make.
Sincerely,
Miller

First of all, my deepest condolences go out to Miller and his family. He is a good friend. I heard about this a few weeks ago and didn't want to intrude on their privacy, nor could I think of a proper way of passing on this tragic news. The people on this forum are good decent human beings, but it is hard to even structure a proper response in the face of such senseless tragedy. I know we all pray for the victims and reach out to the surviving loved ones.
This is one of those times that makes it so hard to accept that God has a plan for us all.
