25' obsession vortex cat 1994
I bought a 25' vortex cat. I know there out of buss but can anyone tell me a little history about them? It seems like a nice boat has a xz drive and I just got done rerigging it all winter and toped it off with a 540. Thanx!!! please be nice it's my pride and joy!!!

Are you sure its a 25? I used to have a custom cat that was built out of molds bought from obsession. They were sold to obsession by eliminator and were originally the 23 daytona. It was a pretty good boat. One guy here in Oklahoma had his running 130+. There was a video online. It had stupid power in it.

I currently own a 95 with 555 871 blowershop blower, ITS xr/w 2 in sportmaster lower. Runs a tad over 100. I have owned this boat for several years, and it was my first cat. Its probably the heaviest 25 cat around. Great for rough water, leans outside in smooth water until 65 or so. Plan on selling mine soon for twin engine cat. Great bang for buck first go fast.
