That isn't Jay's boat.....at least he wasn't on it.....similar though. It was the pace boat for the Cats and broke a drive and had to let the cats go early......

What you guys also missed is that the Fountain was a patrol boat and not in the race!
I was going to post that "School was in Session"...
What a great run you guys had! Must have been an awesome ride!
I will also nip this one in the bud, so to speak... The Production boats did get a head start on the Cats, but it was no more than 5 minutes. The race course had to be over 75 miles. And CRC didn't make up the difference on Hot For Teacher (a full cockpit, covergirl cabin pleasure TS Top Gun by the way).

That is right Tank......but the cats did start a few minutes later. I know....I was right there as the score and start/finish boat!
I did hear though that after the race, the made up a "new class" called Extreme Ski" and moved the V8 boat out of the P1 class and into that class by themselves so the P1 trophy could go to another party.......

Congrats Tom, Kevin & Shannon !! Years ago I was running a poker run in BIG water on Lake Michigan with my first 36 Skater and was so far ahead of everyone that you couldn't see any other boats except for one - a Cigarette. Randy Scism was with me and I'm certain he will remember that ride to this day ...

Congrats to Tom, Shannon and Kevin for an awesome race and an awesome boat. #6 Top Guns rule! That #1 on the side is there for a reason.

I'm on my 5th bottle of water today. Is it possible to drink to much of it?
Thanks again for the hospitality. My first time boating in the Pacific was one to remember! Now start working on the Cabo Wabo trip!!
.....now back to the classroom.
