all three are great boats, have been in all, owned a 36 nortech, so has weapon X, are you wanting to know about ride quality, the 36 nortech is actually around 38' and rides nice at 120mph, I drove randy's 1075merc 42 mti and it was very solid at high speeds, ran it up to 155mph . the skater 40 is a bit heavier than the others and will handle bigger water better than the other 2, Skaters are built as good as any boat period. Nortech has a cabin and is has a little more family friendly amenities, the MTI is a rocket, no cabin very small cockpit, the 40 skater no cabin, decent room in the cockpit for 5 people. you will be happy with either of them, depends on your budget and what kind of water you are running in,.

Thanks for the info about all boats, I love the ride in my Nor-Tech. My wife gets a little nervous at 120-140mph. I would like to see the stability in a bigger cat. I love the cabin and head in the 43 Nor-Tech but I here the ride cannnot compare to the MTI. I will have to sea trial as well as a bigger Skater

you want a great ride, go with the ultimate the 46 skater, believe it won 5 or 6 world championships dressed in black, Its very hard to beat the styling, performance and amenities of the 36 Nortech.

I love the Nor-Tech, If a make a change the next boat would have to blow me away as far as handling bigger water at high speeds. I am looking forward to finding out....

Thats what I am talking about, How is it towing those boats on a tilt trailer(Kenny, you think we could handle that on the Garden State Parkway next summer if we run aground again following you and have to tow the boat home)
