Keep the boat as it is and buy the kids a skiboat with a bigblock... thisway everyones happy.
If you get a cabin boat youŽll soon find out that the cabin doesnŽt get much use.
If boats up here doesnŽt get their cabins used much but the flybridges and aft decks instead then howabout some warmer places??

Hmmmm... a 35 Fountain has the same waterline (or a bit shorter) as a Apache 33 and has 496 HOŽs stock doing 90mph tops ( IŽve witnessed 88)
So I guess a 33 with 482Žs (and Kinsler fuel injection?) will outrun one

Sure is a nice show piece!

MikeyFIN...

I was 5 and you were 15 when all this was happening....neither of us worked there or owned the company.... I'm sure we both have friends/relatives who were there and similiar to the old Indian campfire stories about Geronimo etc. the stories have their place...

It's just not worth arguing anymore....

Shouldn't you have directed that criticism to Bobby Moore?

You guys are so defensive you can't answer questions...

BTW, as stated in the video it was build/rigged by Mark... I simply asked a question....for all we know the driver had it overtrimmed or wanted a high X-Dim so the boat went faster.... There are trade-off's with high, low X-Dim's...you guys are the experts so you already knew that...

Angle of attack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7mSxOAg-UU
the team boat had electrical problems and lost trim.
