Just finished watching the movie on Showtime On Demand. Good documentary and I have been in some of the neighborhoods the transporters lived in. Even years later I thought the locations were out in the middle of no where, like who would want to live out here unless they were up to no good.
The two most popular transporters in the movie lived in Palm Beach County, 2 counties north of Miami. Good rule of thumb back then was if they looked like they shouldn't have money then they probably didn't earn it legally. I had friends in high school that had unemployed parents but new Corvettes delivered on their 16th birthday.

I ran across a copy while out christmas shopping and watched it the other night. Pretty cool. Interesting how no one really cared about the drugs or the drug dealers, as they powered the local economy. Only when the bullets began to fly did they do anything major about it.

Bought the DVD and watched over the weekend with some friends over cigars. We all liked it. Definitly worth a watch!
