I'm looking at reading about the Wellcraft Scarab P-29. I'ts a red and yellow and I beleve it was on the cover. I'll give $$ to buy or borrow it and I'll pay for both ways shipping. I'ts all I want for Christmas besides the boat.

Got it Scarabman! Thanks again! I found one that is mint with trailer for 55000 with 200 hours and custom trailer stored in a heater an cooled garage all its life. Owner says it shines like new. What do you think? Sound high to me.

ummm- very high. It may shine like new, but it's soon to be a 12 year-old 29' boat with a discontinued drive system. I remember these when they came out- there was one at the Chicago show. Lots of flash, but you could barely even get inside the cabin, and once you did, it was VERY cramped. I liked the boat (couldn't have cared less about cabin at that time), but the wife didn't like it at all.
With the boat market as it stands right now, a diligent search would produce a much newer (and possible larger) boat for that kind of money.
