Apache, I didn't see where you were very specific on price or single/twins. In my humble, and biased, opinion there is only one choice of the boats you mentioned.
THE AMERIACN OFFSHORE LEGEND BULLET.
The price will be considerably less than the previous post with the 28 AT, it will have the best cabin, hands down. You can even get AC in the cabin. Full enclosed head (wives and gf love that).
Now, if cost of operation is really important, I would say stick with a single engine boat, but if that's not very important and your budget is around 50K, take a look at the Bullet with the tribal graphics in the classifieds here.
Post up after you make your buying choice, we all want to know what you decide.

Is the bed in the Bullet big enough to sleep in? I am looking for a nice weekender boat that can take some moderate seas that I can overnight in. I can't tell in the pics if there is room for me and a girl friend.

I did find a great 28 Apache, and I bought it, some people say I stole it but, that is what I ended up with, I still love the cigarette Bullet, but the Apache came up and I bought it.

Sweet looking Apache. It'll handle any seas that the Bullet would. What engines are in her?
To anwser the forward berth question, yes it's plenty big for two. The backrest for the rear facing seat folds flat and the whole forward area is berthing. I've also had people sleep on the starboard sofa without much complaining, but there was alot of alcohol involved
