Exhaust Tips
Hey Guys,
I have 4" cmi tips on our 38' powerplay with 525's. The internal flapper part of the tip keeps falling apart, thus i am looking for an alternative tip. I believe that the tip helped cause water reversion, as the headers and tails are brand new. I have a pair of HPI mufflers for our lake, but I like the sound of the regular tips while the boat is in Florida. What does everyone recommend? Teague?

Why run internal flappers? you really don't need them. If anything put external flappers.

i have the internal flapper with the salsbury type external flapper for backup. I just want to make sure that there is no way water can crawl back up my exhaust.

I have GGB mufflers on mine with flappers and am putting gibsons on my 20 with external flappers, that would work, 500 per set.
